Introduction
Autospawn ("Autospawn," "we," "us," or "our") operates an autonomous AI company builder platform at autospawn.com and related services (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you create an account, connect integrations, or otherwise use the Service.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Information we collect
We collect information in the following categories:
Account and profile information. When you sign up, our authentication provider (Clerk) collects information such as your name, email address, and profile image. If you sign in with Google or another OAuth provider, we receive the profile information that provider shares with us according to your settings with that provider.
Billing and payment information. When you subscribe or add payment methods, Stripe processes your payment details. We receive billing identifiers (such as a Stripe customer ID), subscription status, plan tier, and transaction metadata. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
Workspace and business information. You provide business context during onboarding and ongoing use, including your company name, business goals, audience, product details, chat messages with our agents, uploaded files, and configuration choices such as Copilot or Autonomous mode.
Contact and communication information. If you connect iMessage, email, or other communication channels, we store the contact details and message content needed to operate check-ins, notifications, and outreach on your behalf.
Connected integration data. When you connect third-party services (such as Stripe, GitHub, Meta Ads, Google Ads, social platforms, email providers, or tools available through our integration partners), we store connection metadata and OAuth tokens or API credentials needed to act on your behalf. We also receive data from those services that is necessary to perform the actions you authorize, such as repository contents, ad account structure, campaign performance, or social post history.
Usage and analytics data. We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, credit consumption, agent task history, and error logs. We use Vercel Analytics on our marketing and product surfaces to understand aggregate traffic patterns.
Customer site analytics. Websites built through Autospawn may include first-party pageview tracking that records anonymous visitor identifiers, page paths, referrers, country (derived from request headers), and UTM parameters. This data is associated with your workspace and used to help measure site performance and attribution.
Outreach and lead data. If you use our outreach capabilities, we process prospect information you provide or that our agents research, including names, email addresses, social handles, and message content sent on your behalf.
Browser extension data. If you install the Autospawn browser extension to enable agent browser automation, the extension may access browser tab information and page content on sites you authorize, solely to perform tasks you request.
Support and correspondence. If you contact us at founders@autospawn.com, we retain the content of your messages and any information you choose to provide.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service
- Authenticate you and manage your account
- Process subscriptions, usage credits, and billing
- Run AI agents on your behalf to build products, create content, manage ads, conduct outreach, and perform research
- Coordinate tasks between specialist agents and evaluate outcomes to improve future recommendations
- Send service-related communications, including check-in summaries and operational notifications
- Deploy and operate websites, custom domains, and customer-facing assets you configure
- Measure performance, debug issues, and protect against fraud or abuse
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
AI processing
Autospawn uses artificial intelligence models to analyze your inputs, generate content, make operational decisions within the scope you authorize, and produce artifacts such as code, copy, emails, and campaign structures. Your workspace data, connected integration data, and task history may be processed by AI systems to provide these features.
In Copilot mode, proposed actions require your approval before execution. In Autonomous mode, agents may act between your check-ins according to your configuration. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs and ensuring they meet your standards and legal obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. We use third parties that process data on our behalf, including Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting and analytics), database and storage providers, and AI model providers. These providers are authorized to use your information only as needed to perform services for us.
- Integration partners. When you connect a third-party service, we share information with that service as necessary to perform actions you authorize, such as publishing a post, creating an ad, sending an email, or deploying code.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Autospawn, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account or disconnect an integration, we delete or anonymize associated data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business needs such as billing records.
Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure credential storage for connected integrations. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or export certain data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
You can update account details through your profile settings, disconnect integrations from your workspace, and manage subscription and payment methods through our billing interface. To make a privacy request, contact us at founders@autospawn.com.
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or certain other jurisdictions, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
International transfers
Autospawn is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
Third-party links and services
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party websites and services that are not operated by Autospawn. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any service you connect or visit.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
